Marshall County Sheriff’s Report – July 27

sheriffOn Saturday July 25th, Deputy Nathan Maxlow was dispatched to Little Cypress Road in reference to a single vehicle collision. Upon arrival Deputy Maxlow spoke to the driver of the vehicle who stated that due to a malfunction of the vehicle, he had run off the roadway and struck a mailbox. Upon further investigation it was determined that the license plate on the vehicle was stolen from McCracken County. The subject stated he had been staying in McCracken County with a friend near the address where the plate had been taken from. The subject’s actual address was also different from his driver’s license. James L. Maynard 18, of Calvert City, was arrested and charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle Registration Plate, No Registration Receipt, No Registration Plates, Improper Registration Plate, Failure to Register Transfer of Motor Vehicle, Failure to Notify Address Change to Department of Transportation and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree.

For the week of July 20th through July 27th the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following: 10 Traffic Accidents, 4 Motorist Assists, 8 Burglary/Theft Reports, 16 Disturbances, 5 Investigations, 5 Domestic Disturbances, 5 Warrants Served, 21 Civils Served, 23 Have a Deputy Call and 10 Traffic Stops contributing to 200 calls responded to
