Forensic report leads to additional sex charges for Benton man

childpornographyBENTON – Results from a forensic report conducted by the Attorney General’s Cyber Lab have led to additional charges for a Benton man.

In May, Chris A. Sharp, 47, of Benton was charged with five counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. Those charges were based on images found on Sharp’s phone.

A search warrant was then conducted for the computer in Sharp’s home and sent off to the Attorney General’s Cyber Lab for analysis. On July 7th, Lt. Matt Hilbrecht received the forensic report which revealed that there were four images and eight videos of minors engaging in sexual acts.

Sharp has been charged with another count of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
