BENTON – An investigation that began on July 1st has led to the arrest of a Benton man on sexual abuse charges.
Detective Lieutenant Matt Hilbrecht opened the investigation and on July 3rd, Marshall County Deputies along with officers from the Benton Police Department located the suspect in Benton. Allan M. Stewart Jr, 38, was charged with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree and lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
