LOUISVILLE – Logan Hogge of Salt Lick, Kentucky and Morehead State University golfer, won the 2015 Kentucky State Amateur Championship today at Big Spring Country Club in Louisville.
Hogge lead wire-to-wire in the two-day event finishing with a 4-under three day total of 212 (68, 70, 74) by one stroke over Drew Allenspach of Louisville with 213 (76, 70, 67) and Denver Haddix, Jr. of Lexington with 213 (74, 72, 67).
Former Marshall County and Murray State golfer, Hunter York, finished tied for 29th with a +7 223 (74, 76, 73).
Murray State’s Brock Simmons finished T33 with 225 and Racer teammate Matthew Zakutney finished T38 with 226.
Paducah golfers Josh Rhodes finished T8, Drake Stephter T22, Nicholas Thompson T29 and Joey mayo T50.
