BENTON – The Kentucky Lake Chamber of Commerce in Marshall County is pleased to announce that Benton Hardware has been named “Business of the Month” for the month of June 2015.
After being in business since about 1958, a staple store in Benton, Benton True Value, Inc. closed its doors for business. Fortunately for Benton, Scott Jaco came along and in October of 2012 he bought the former hardware building on 12th street and brought this hardware business back to life, opening Benton Hardware in April of 2013.
Although no longer a “True Value” franchise, you will be surprised at all this store has to offer its customers. Not only do they have complete departments for your plumbing, electrical, tool, and hardware needs, but they also carry such things as lawnmowers, lawn & garden items, Valspar paint and painting supplies, firearms and ammo as well as several options of mulch, gravel, dirt etc… Plus they say they will deliver just about anything you need!
The goal of this business is to serve people to the best of their ability with quality products at a reasonable price and friendly customer service.
Hours of operation for Benton Hardware are Monday–Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Be sure and get by there soon to check out all this store has to offer and congratulate them on being selected “Business of the Month.”
