A&I Fair rolls through May 19th through the 23rd, set to feature motorcross, ATV and warrior races

fairBENTON – The Marshall County A & I Fair rolls through next week, May 19th through the 23rd and is set to include crowd favorites such as warrior races and motocross. The week-long set of events starts Sunday with the A&I beauty pageant which will be held in the Joe Creason building in Benton beginning at 2 p.m.

There is a $5 fee to attend the pageant. Preteen and Teen contestants compete in evening gown competition, while Miss Marshall County contestants compete in evening gown and swim suit competition. On Tuesday, the Warrior races roll through at 7 p.m. and then on Sunday, laser tag action is back and free with $10 standard gate admission to the fair.

Out A’Round, featuring Mike James, Patricia James, Rick Lee and David Johnston will also be performing at the fair Wednesday night at 7 p.m. Admission includes all fair events, as well as unlimited rides.

On Thursday, the ATV/UTV obstacle course event will take center stage with Friday bringing in a new event sure to please the masses, the Western Horse show which also begins at 7 p.m. and set to feature several classes including open horsemanship, youth walk trot, English gaited, trail and ranch pleasure and much more. The week rounds out an exciting schedule on Saturday with Super Cross racing.
