DRAFFENVILLE – Mason Wooten signed his letter of intent to play baseball for Shawnee Community College on Wednesday at Marshall County High School.

“Mason has had an outstanding career at MCHS”, Head Coach Mike Johnson said. “He was an All-Region player as a junior and has continued to perform at a high level this year among the team leaders in hits and RBI’s. With his size, he has a lot of upside that college coaches like. He will only get better in college.”

“I am ready for the next step in baseball and look forward to playing at Shawnee Community College”, Wooten said. “It’s a good fit for me.”

Mason is undecided on a major but is considering engineering.
