CALVERT CITY – Community members are invited to an outreach meeting Tuesday, April 28 sponsored by the Calvert City Industrial Complex’s Community Advisory Team and industrial sponsors. The meeting will be held in the Calvert City Hall (Old Library) and is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
This is an opportunity to learn more about the Calvert City Community Advisory Team. Formed in 1992, it consists of a group of citizens from the Calvert City area who meet regularly with managers from sponsoring industrial plants to discuss issues of mutual interest.
Sponsoring companies are: Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., AES Environmental, LLC, Arkema, Inc., Ashland, Inc., Carbide Industries LLC , Cymetech Corporation, Evonik Corporation, Lubrizol Advanced Materials, Inc., Sekisui SC, Wacker Chemical Corporation, Westlake Chemical Corporation and Westlake PVC Corporation.
